Select by type

The shape of reinforcement hardware is called the type. The type of reinforcement hardware that can be used depends on the part to be reinforced and the material.

Angle bracket (Corner bracket)

This type has a certain angle, and each has a different angle and ground contact area, used at the connection of two boards to increase strength.


U-shaped bracket

It is a reinforcement hardware with a U-shaped cross section.U-shaped brackets  are used to connect two boards in a T-shape and also as stoppers.


Flat bar

It is a thin, flat metal plate used to reinforce the material itself or to connect two parallel plates.


L-shaped bracket

Similar to angle brackets, L-shaped brackets are often L-shaped at 90 degrees and are used to reinforce desk and chair legs, boxes, etc.


Flat-surface bracket

There are T-shape, L-shape, and other variations, but unlike L-shaped brackets, they are all made of flat surfaces. They are used to reinforce parts assembled at right angles from the side.

Select by material

The material of reinforcement hardware should be considered according to the required strength and target material.


Among the more than 200 types of stainless steel alloys, this is the most commonly used type. The 300 series is an austenitic alloy with high heat resistance and corrosion resistance. It has high strength and can be used anywhere.


SUS430 is the same stainless steel alloy, but 430 is a ferritic alloy. 430 differs from 304 in that it is magnetic and reacts to magnets, and it is less expensive. It also has excellent corrosion resistance, so it can be used for all purposes.


A6063S is a well-known aluminum alloy. It has good extrudability and corrosion resistance. It has good surface finishability and good appearance, but not so strong, so it is suitable for reinforcing furniture and electrical appliances.


An alloy of iron mixed with carbon, it has very high hardness. However, it does not have high corrosion resistance, so it is not suitable for use outdoors or around water.


Reinforcement hardware made of other materials such as steel are also surface-treated with nylon. They look beautiful, but depending on the material used, they are not suitable for use around water.

Zinc alloy

There are many reinforcement hardware in subdued colors, such as die-cast ones, and they are often used for furniture.


It is a high-grade material with high strength, used for furniture and electrical appliances. Because it contains copper, it is not suitable for humid environments as it may develop a green patina.


Reinforcement hardware is widely used because it is easy to use and can easily reinforce products.
