If you are right-handed, set the curve so that the material is turned to the left, and twist and turn the right hand while holding the center of the part to be cut with the left hand. If you use a two-handed operation, it is easy to get confused and you may end up with a parallel line. For a meandering line, it works well to cut a little at a time, taking a breath with each twist. For right-handed curves, hold the left hand in place and move the right hand.

If the cut surface is disturbed, sandpaper it. Sharpen the thin board along the cut edge, as it is prone to cracking when applied vertically. When cutting a thin board, it is better to pinch it with a piece of scrap wood before cutting to prevent the edges from cracking.

The cutting surface can also be slanted by tilting the board. Loosen the fixing screw about halfway and adjust the angle by aligning it with a protractor. The most precise process of inclined cutting is inlaying, which is a method of overlapping two pieces of material of different colors and cutting them at an angle to make use of the pattern on the same side. Since the board can only be tilted to the left, cut the materials in a counterclockwise direction; when the two boards are cut, fit them apart and glue them together if they fit. Finally, sand the surface with a sander or sandpaper until it is flat.
