Screw Gears

A screw gear is a gear whose teeth are twisted in the axial direction. There are right-hand and left-hand threads. When the direction of the axis transmitting motion is different, twist in the same direction. When using parallel axes, combine right and left. Since it is quieter than a spur gear, it can be used where noise is to be suppressed, and the advantage of the screw gear is that it is advantageous in terms of strength. MC nylon is lightweight and self-lubricating, and can be used without lubrication. However, care must be taken because the dimensional change with temperature is large and it is vulnerable to acid. Carbon steel is relatively strong, but lubrication is important, and if it runs out of oil, it can quickly wear out.
